Cannes Yachting Wrap Up

The Cannes Yachting Festival, one of the most famous in the world, has just finished its highly anticipated 2021 festival on 12 September 2021 in the Vieux Port and Port Canto. After a tumultuous 2020 across the globe, the loyal exhibitors and attendees of the Cannes Yachting festival were more than happy to get back to business as usual with this year’s show. Here are a selection of some of the most exciting things to come out of this year’s festival.

1. The Trideck + One model of the Azimut Grande Trideck, named for it’s extra aft deck in addition to the three traditional ones that create a stunning visual cascade of terraces from the top of the Sundeck down to the water. This is an innovative design that’s taken much of its inspiration from the sea that it was born to roam.
2. The festival also had its share of exciting monohulls that made their entrance into the show with cruisers like the J/45 designed for long distances and comfort. It’s sleek and modern exterior is a result of a three year collaboration between the North American and the French arms of the J company, and makes way for a new era of exciting, innovative and modern monohulls to come.
3. Finally, we can’t move past a wrap up of this year’s festival without mentioning the queen of the hour, and the current jewel of the sea, the Mangusta 104 REV. It’s modern and slender lines are indicative of a new era of super yacht, but they don’t betray the Mangusta’s heart, simply take it to new modernity. This yacht maximises privacy, space and enjoyment on board with it’s sundeck made for relaxation while maintaining a sporty and sleek look, perfect for the waters it’s meant for.
